Pancake breakfast, 10,000 eggs and visits with the Easter Bunny!
Get ready for the Easter Bunny who will make an appearance at Temple City’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16 at Live Oak Park. The event brings together all members of the community for a fun, family-filled morning that will be sure to create as much excitement for the adults as it will for the kids.
The pancake breakfast kicks off the event at 8:30 a.m. The breakfast, served through 11 a.m. at a cost of $3 per adult and $2 per child (exact change only), will include pancakes, sausage, and a choice of coffee, milk or juice.
Meanwhile, over 10,000 eggs will be scattered across Live Oak Park for multiple egg hunts, based on age. The first one, for ages two years and under (with the help of parents of course), will open at 9:00 am, followed by another hunt per age category every 15 minutes (Please see schedule of hunt times). Don’t forget to bring your Easter basket!
Other children’s activities include arts and crafts and inflatable obstacle courses, as well as a visit and photo with the Easter Bunny. For more information, call the City’s Parks and Recreation Department at (626) 579-0461.
