Registration Now Open for Summer Day Camp

Ten-week camp begins June 12; space is limited



May 15, 2017 — Registration is now open for the City of Temple City’s summer day camp.

Sponsored by the parks and recreation department, the popular day camp begins June 12 and runs for 10 weeks at both Cleminson Elementary School and First Lutheran Church.

Open to youth entering grades one through six, the drop-in program operates weekdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The $110 weekly cost per child includes a Thursday excursion to scheduled locations like Knott’s Berry Farm, Raging Waters, Santa Monica Pier and Catalina Island.

In addition to the weekly excursions, campers also will make new friends and take part in a number of daily activities including arts and crafts, sports, music and games.

Each site will be limited to 50 campers per session to ensure a low staff-to-camper ratio. Campers are responsible for their own lunches and snacks.
