  1. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training - Day 2

    August 24, 2019, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM @ Council Chambers

    The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program provides private citizens with basic skills that will enable them to handle their own needs and then to respond to their community’s needs in the aftermath of a disaster. Participants learn best practices in disaster preparedness, first aid, search and rescue, and fire safety. The training course will be presented as a series of two Saturday classes and one Sunday class. All participants must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals who are 16-17 years old may attend if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Participants must attend ALL 3 DAYS of training. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
