The City of Temple City’s Senior Resource Page was developed to bridge resource gaps for seniors in the community in order to create connectivity to referral services and senior oriented programs. Below you will find a variety of resources for the Older Adult population in Temple City. 

TEMPLE CITY/YWCA - SENIOR LUNCH PROGRAM
The Senior Lunch program has been modified from its traditional format. Meals are delivered  on Tuesdays starting at 11:00 a.m. Seven (7) meals are provided to each senior that has a reservation each Tuesday. Reservations are made by contacting the YWCA directly at 626-960-2995 or 626-214-9465.

SENIOR DATABASE
The Senior Database links you to everyday as well as emergency information regarding resources for the senior community.  You can visit the Community Center located at Live Oak Park, 10144 Bogue Street or click the link below to access the form online.

TEMPLE CITY DIAL-A-RIDE 
Dial-A-Ride is a low cost point to point transportation services for seniors in the community. Ride reservations can be made from your residence to any location within Temple City, or to specific medical locations in the surrounding communities. We are now allowing same day sign-up by contacting Jennifer Venters at jventers@templecity.us. Senior residents can call in to the reservation line at 626-286-2456 to reserve a ride.
Services times are now changed to earlier in the day as follows:
Monday through Friday: 7:00am – 8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am – 5:00pm

LA COUNTY LIBRARY – TEMPLE CITY 
The Temple City Library offers a variety of services for the senior community. Although currently under construction, the Library is operating temporarily at 9050 E Las Tunas Blvd Temple City, CA 91780.

211 LA
Provides information and referrals for health and human services in Los Angeles County. 211 has a large variety of resources that include but are not limited to; healthcare, housing, employment, education, legal services, transportation, utilities, etc. The 2-1-1 phone line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with advisors ready to help. For those calling from outside Los Angeles County or cannot directly dial 2-1-1, call 1-800-339-6993.
