State of the City
2023 State of the City
With the theme "The Future of the Past," Temple City Mayor Cynthia Sternquist will touch on the city’s accomplishments in 2022 and what residents and businesses can expect to look forward to in 2023 during the annual State of the City address. The event will take place at the Historical Society of Temple City, 5954 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City, CA 91780 at 6:00 p.m. The presentation will also be streamed on Temple City’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
“As we celebrate the 100th year of the founding of Temple City, I look forward to highlighting our communities’ accomplishments, celebrating our history, and what the future holds for Temple City.” Mayor Sternquist said.
The mayor’s speech will highlight community groups, projects, and events that lifted the community’s spirit or helped continue the delivery of City Hall services in the midst of a post-pandemic world.
Each year, the Mayor presents a State of the City address that brings together the community to celebrate accomplishments and preview the year ahead.
