Most street lights in Temple City are owned and maintained by Southern California Edison.
Some street lights are owned by the City, and maintained by the County of Los Angeles under contract with the City. City-owned lights are mostly located along Rosemead Boulevard, Las Tunas Drive, and around the downtown area north and south of Las Tunas Drive.
More information is available in the Street Light Master Plan, available on the Document Library page.
Report a Street Light Outage or Malfunction
To report a street light outage or malfunction, please use the online Request Tracker or call 626-285-7187.
If you know that the light is owned by Southern California Edison, you may report it through the Edison web site.
Request a New Street Light
Temple City is not planning to install any new street lights at this time and does not have funding available for new street lights. If you would like to request a new street light on your street or at another location, you may submit a new street light request form to let the City know of your desire to have a street light installed. However please note that there is no guarantee that a street light will be installed at the requested location now or in the future.
